General Assembly Meeting of H2020 LeMO Project at Vestlandsforsking

The 5th general assembly meeting of the LeMO project was held in Sogndal, Norway on the 5th and the 6th of September 2019 hosted by Vestlandsforsking. A General Assembly is a key moment for the project progress. It implies group work and team building, but it is also an opportunity to discuss and agree the next steps and to coordinate our progress. All LeMO partners gathered to discuss the advancement of the project and the 3rd phase tasks ahead. Some important decisions have been made.

The progress achieved in the different work-packages was assessed and the potential to overcome limitations in order to ensure competitive advantage in relation to big data discussed. Participants also shared the faced challenges as well as the related findings during the previous months of the project.

In the 3rd phase, LeMO analyses barriers and limitations of the transportation system to exploit big data opportunities by addressing crucial technical and institutional issues. Once a thorough understanding of barriers and limitations associated with transport big data is formed, they can then be addressed to appropriately and responsibly diminish their effects.

The LeMO team has employed a systematic strategy for reaching the stakeholders targeted in our dissemination activities. The partners discussed and decided the next communication & dissemination activities and events for our project.

The entire team presented impressive progress in first interim period of the project. The coordinator, Professor Rajendra Akerkar, thanked all partners for working hard to achieve challenging milestones and goals and for helping to deliver LeMO results so far.
